It’s standard practice to always get more than one quote for any work you need carrying out to your home.
With so many garage door installers/products available it is hard to know what questions to ask and who to trust.
Here is our guide on what you should be asking when looking for a garage door or repair (and our answers!):
- Are you insured? Yes, we hold public liability for £10m
- Are you a member of a Trade Association? Yes, we are members of the Door & Hardware Federation
- Do you work with reputable manufacturers? Yes, we have direct accounts with all the major manufacturers, our engineers have manufacturer training and we are recognised as their approved installers for our region
- Are your doors safe? Yes, we only work with manufacturers who have CE compliant safety edge systems.
- What are your warranties? All our doors come with a minimum 5 year warranty and 12 month fitting warranty
- If something goes wrong, what do I do? Give us a call and we will always endeavour to have an engineer with you within 48 hours, same day if your property is not secure.
- Do you employ engineers or sub-contract? All our engineers are employed by us, we do not sub contract any of our work.
- How do your prices compare? We believe we have the best prices in the area but if you do receive a cheaper like-for-like quotation we will beat it.
